Ericka C. Barnes

Dr. Barnes received her Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry at Wesleyan University, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Nanotechnology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany. She is currently an associate professor and the graduate coordinator at the Department of Chemistry at Southern Connecticut State University, teaching general, physical, computational, and quantum chemistry. Her research interests are in the development of Gaussian basis sets and the elucidation of chemical structure and reactivity of organic and organometallic systems using computational quantum chemistry.
