A Welcome Entrance

For decades, pedestrians chose the shortest route from the West 1 parking lot to the mall, bypassing the wide set of stairs rising alongside the PAC, opting instead for the blacktop path that cut off the angle.

With the construction of the Center for Media, Film, and Theatre (CMFT) in 2019, a new set of stairs was punched through the mall. Last spring, the Admissions Office relocated from the estate building to its new home in the lower lobby of the CMFT.
