Your Support Matters

Parents, guardian and mentors can play an important role in student success. Below are some tools and tips.

Stay Informed

You can find Important information available on the Parents/Guardian web page. To keep up on the many in-person and online events, visit the Student Portal or the Academic Calendar to discover what’s happening.

Health and Well-Being: Support Services

Counseling and Behavioral Health Services merges the Counseling and Wellness Centers to offer students additional support for sustainable health and well-being.

The Counseling Center in Humanities Lower Level coordinates counseling via Telehealth: students can call (914) 251-6390. All calls for confidential services and crisis intervention (Campus Advocacy Services, individual and group counseling, substance use counseling, mental health emergencies, faculty consultation) should go to the Counseling Center’s office, which is open Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm. After hours, our confidential answering service responds to emergency connections with the Counselor on Call.

The Harbor Center for Health Promotion in Fort Awesome will be open this fall for in-person programming and small group gatherings in the Lighthouse Lounge.
