Alum Michael O’Shea’s Film Selected for Cannes

The first feature film by alumnus Michael O’Shea ’91–’96 is an official selection for the Cannes Film Festival 2016.

The Transfiguration, a horror film, will screen in the Un Certain Regard section, which encourages innovative and daring works.

It’s also an honor for three current BFA students in the film program who served as interns on the film: Sebastian Montjuich ’18 and Gabriella Murillo ’17 in the production department and Brandon Barr ’17 in the art department.

The 69th Festival de Cannes takes place May 11–22, 2016.
