A view of the mall and what was the Library’s rear façade—our guess is sometime in the mid to late ’90s—compared to today. The Library has a new entrance and the mall has far more green space than it once had. The overhaul of the mall was a signature achievement of President Thomas J. Schwarz, who stepped down as of July 31, 2019.
