An Instagram account @issadancelook, begun by Joy-Marie Thompson ’18 last January and maintained now by Dava Huesca ’19 since Thompson graduated, grabbed the attention of DanceSpirit Magazine last #FollowFriday.

On Sunday, July 22, Tongue Tied Shrews, a short film created by and featuring Thompson and fellow dancer Sherah Shipman ’19, was featured at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Dance on Camera Festival 2018.
Thompson was also a winner of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.
