Kyle Abraham ’00

Since graduating from the Conservatory of Dance in 2000, Kyle Abraham has literally been on the move. His company, recently rebranded as simply A.I.M., is currently performing at the Joyce Theatre in New York City.

In April, 2018, it was announce that Abraham is to be one of six choreographers to contribute new work to the New York City Ballet’s 2018-19 season. Dance magazine applauded this prestigious achievement in its May edition.

Among Abraham’s many accomplishments: He was the 2016 Doris Duke Artist Award recipient; the  2015 City Center Choreographer in residence; a 2013 MacArthur Fellow.

In 2011, OUT Magazine labeled Abraham as the “best and brightest creative talent to emerge in New York City in the age of Obama”.
