Summer in France Info Session
Located between Nice and Cannes, with 25 km of sandy beaches and 300 sunny days a year, Antibes is one of the Côte d’Azur’s star attractions and becomes the students’ home for four weeks of the program. Once the home of Pablo Picasso, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and James Baldwin, the area is rich with cultural as well as natural beauty.
The five-week summer program combines intensive work in the French language (all levels offered) with study of either a journalism or art elective for a total of 8 academic credits.
While in Antibes, students live with a French-speaking family and immerse themselves in the life of this beautiful Mediterranean town surrounded by ancient fortified walls. There will be excursions offered to St. Paul-de-Vence (included), Nice and other Côte d’Azur towns. The program ends with five days of exploration in Paris, the City of Lights!
