“UGH!! I was made with Prison Labor” Sticker Campaign Kickoff Meeting

Time

12:30pm  — 1:00pm

Location

Visual Arts Building / Perception Lab, Room 1016
“UGH!! I was made with Prison Labor” is a sticker campaign/protest with an attempt to call attention to SUNY’s reliance on prison labor with products from CorCraft, currently in contract with SUNY to provide all kinds of products - furniture, cleaning supplies, office and school supplies, and more.

The stickers will provide a QR code connecting to a website with more information about what Prison Labor is, its relationship to the evolution of slavery, how to identify CorCraft products, and an email campaign asking relevant parties at Purchase College and SUNY Administration to divest from prison labor. Participants who show up will receive a sheet of stickers, and those attending digitally can request the file to print their own, or make arrangements to pick-up a sheet at an alternate time. The physical event has a maximum of 20 spaces, with an overflow moving to a simultaneous zoom session.

Registration for this event is now closed.
