Judy Glantzman first exhibited in the early 1980’s, in New York’s East Village, represented by Civilian Warfare and Gracie Mansion Galleries.
Judy Glantzman has exhibited at the Betty Cuningham Gallery, exhibiting five times since 2004. Her most recent exhibition, “1979-Today,” 2019, was a survey of her forty year career. Glantzman is a Guggenheim Fellow, an Academician in the National Academy of Art, and a recipient grants from Anonymous Was a Woman, the Pollock Krasner and the New York Foundation for the Arts. Glantzman is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum, Phoenix Art Museum, and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum among others. Her work has been reviewed in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Art Critical, and many others.
Glantzman graduated with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1978. She lives and works in New York City.
