Join the 2018-2019 Roy and Shirley Durst Distinguished Chair in Literature, Kevin Young for readings and conversation.
Kevin Young is the poetry editor at The New Yorker and the Director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. He has published ten books of poetry, including Jelly Roll: A Blues (2003), a finalist for the National Book Award and winner of the Paterson Poetry Prize; Blue Laws: Selected & Uncollected Poems, 1995-2015 (2016), longlisted for the National Book Award; and, most recently, Brown (2018).
