Interior Design for Real Life: The Shared Space Challenge

Led by Jacqueline Hosford, a member of the faculty in the Interior Design Professional Certificate Program in the School of Liberal Arts & Continuing Education at Purchase College, this fun and interactive workshop will challenge your inner interior-designer and solve real-life design conundrums.  Gain insight into how professional designers find design solutions and do it all with style!

Attendance will be capped at 25 participants.


Jacqueline HosfordJacqueline Hosford has over 20 years experience in interior design and high-end residential project management in the NYC Metro area. As principle of her eponymous design studio, JAQUELINE HOSFORD DESIGN, she provides a full-selection of interior design, decorating and consulting services for both residential and contract projects.

A classically trained ballet dancer, Jacqueline brings an elegance and grace to a design style that artfully marries traditional elements with a fresh, distinctly modern, and subtle theatrical sensibility. She strives to see spaces beyond mere décor, and to craft well-conceived soulful environments that truly enhance the lives of the inhabitants.

Jacqueline is a Professional member of ASID, NCIDQ certified, holds a BA from Barnard College and an AAS degree with highest honors from the New York School of Interior Design. She has served as president of the New York Metro Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and is active within her local community to improve and care for public garden spaces. As an educator at the State University in Purchase, New York (SUNY), she delights in sharing her knowledge with aspiring designers.
