The Summer Youth and Precollege Programs in the Arts offer immersive experiences in visual arts, performing arts, vocal music, photography, filmmaking, writing, and songwriting - providing opportunities to explore your passions, develop your talents, and discover yourself. These programs help students build confidence, create or enhance college portfolios, learn audition techniques, and connect with like-minded peers, all while working with experienced educators and teaching artists, including Purchase College faculty in select programs.

Through engaging coursework and personalized guidance, students strengthen academic skills, gain confidence, and experience the intellectual challenges of college-level learning in a supportive environment. Academic EDGE is perfect for students who want to sharpen their academic edge while exploring future college pathways. Academic EDGE courses are led by distinguished, full-time Purchase College faculty - experienced educators who bring their expertise, passion for teaching, and commitment to student success into every classroom.
