The arts management and entrepreneurship program at Purchase College offers a strategic mix of classroom-based and experiential learning opportunities to prepare thoughtful, innovative, and engaged professionals across the creative industries.
Led by a faculty of educators and field practitioners, emphasis is placed on critical inquiry along with developing the creative problem-solving and communication skills necessary to support arts enterprise in a constantly changing environment.
Students benefit from access to the outstanding artistic resources of Purchase College and proximity to New York City, one of the world’s top cultural destinations.
The top prize went to Shannon Dawson for a social media app for creatives.
She’ll spend 2021–2022 at the University of Messina in Sicily.
Arraygency will represent BIPOC, queer, and trans creative talent.
2020 has certainly had its challenges for all of us, but the Arts Management Faculty have risen to the challenge and provided the community with two very interesting and thought provoking lectures in their new series Notes from the Field.
