Site Directors Meeting May 9, 2019

Great Potential and Liberty Partnerships Programs site directors and staff are always hard at work. These meetings are to prepare for important events and updates that are happening within the program. Being up to date and keeping people informed are key to having things run smoothly.

DIRECTOR’S PROGRAM UPDATES:

·      The Great Potential Program received a generous donation from the Phyllis E. Nobile Memorial Fund to provide transitional programming for our middle school students at Isaac E. Young Middle School and Albert Leonard Middle School. (See enclosed letter)

·     High School College for a Day April 10, 2019

·     Upcoming staff development training  scheduled for May 30, 2019 with Ms. Corale Joseph

Topics to include juvenile justice settings: Gang awareness, Reaching Unreachable Students,

Career Options, Post High School Plans, How to work with parents of these students, Ways to help juveniles who engage in dangerous habits, Gang awareness for staff, Providing motivation and respect for students and others
