What to Expect

Parent Orientation consists of a 1-day session on January 20, 2015.  The program runs alongside the Student Orientation.  Parents will be receiving a letter in the mail with information about Parent Orientation, the assigned date, and registration information.  Parent Orientation is one day of fast-paced programming designed to introduce parents to campus life, resources on and off campus, academics and to also meet faculty, staff, and other parents!

During Orientation, parents may have a lot of questions.  Our Orientation Leaders (OLs) are there to help!  The OL will answer any questions that parents have about Purchase and also will help parents get acquainted with the campus and the Orientation program.

Students and Parents should plan to check in between 9:00am-9:30am in the Social Sciences Building Lobby.  There will be signs around campus directing you to check-in.  The Orientation concludes by 6:00pm.

Breakfast and lunch are provided on the first day of Orientation.  If you have special dietary needs, please contact us to make special arrangements
