Three From Purchase In "Best of SUNY" Art Exhibition

The "Best of SUNY Student Art Exhibition" provides a showcase in a museum setting for the top student artists from across the state. This juried show features 64 works selected from more than 144 works submitted in a variety of media. The three Purchase students are exhibiting paintings.

Winners of several prizes will be announced shortly. Three student artists will receive $1,000 scholarships and honorable mention awards of $500 will be given to other students. 

The SUNY art exhibition was introduced in 2002 as a way for SUNY's  most talented student artists to display their work to a wider audience.  This is the fourth time since 2006 that the State Museum has hosted the exhibition.
