Purchase Hosts Dare To Dream Event on April 20

 Wellness @ Purchase and the Purchase Speak Out! Committee will sponsor this program highlighting male sexual abuse with a message of hope and healing while offering support to abuse survivors. The program is free and takes place in the Music Building, room 0001.

Dare to Dream is presented by the non-profit organization MaleSurvivor which is dedicated to overcoming sexual victimization.  It will feature clips from the “Oprah Winfrey Show” which highlighted male sexual abuse. A panel discussion will be led by Purchase staff member Curtis St. John, former president of MaleSurvivor, Murray Shane MD, former president and and Chris Anderson, board member of MaleSurvivor.  There will also be opportunities to learn about resources and support groups.
