Purchase Student Art Selected for College Art Association Exhibit

When more than 6,000 visual arts professionals gather in New York City for the College Art Association's 99th Annual Conference, Purchase students will participate by exhibiting their work in the CAA  Regional BFA Exhibition at the New York Center for Art and Media Studies at 44 W. 28th Street.

The exhibit  celebrates current perspectives in student work and features art by fifteen undegraduate artists from six distinguished New York area BFA programs such as: Brooklyn College, the Fashion Institute of Technology, Long Island University, Pratt Institute, St. John's University,and Purchase. The exhibition demonstrates the distinctiveness of each artist's work and the innovation of the programs.

The conference will also include 150 panel discussions, work sessions, a book and trade fair and other exhibitions.
