Home Staging Course Offered in September & October

A certificate program for realtors, decorators, builders & new businesses. Intensives offered by School of Liberal Studies and Continuing Education and the organization of Certified Staging Professionals.

Learn Home Staging at Purchase College this fall. This new certificate program is taught by Nairm Freeman, president of Ingenuity & Pizzaz, one of New York City’s top staging companies. The three- day intensive sessions in September and October are ideal for decorators, builders, designers, real estate agents or people planning to start a business or work in home staging.

 

The new course is offered through the Purchase College School of Liberal Studies and Continuing Education and the Certified Staging Professionals organization.  It includes role play, mastering great room design, examining color mapping and its application indoors and outside, and understanding how to develop a business model and discovering what you need to know to establish a profitable business.

 

The Course will be offered September 13-15 from 8 AM to 6 PM in the Humanities Building, room 1076 and October 28-30 from 8 AM-6 PM in the Natural Sciences Building, Room 1002. 

 

Once certified, graduates are eligible to join CSP and become a CSP consultant. An annual membership fee of $255 is required to use the Certified Staging Professional logo on business material.  Membership includes access to the CSP Student Resource Center, a bi-monthly magazine with industry news, Web directory presence, and preferred pricing partners for clients.

 

Instructor Narin Friemann has a BA and MBA and certification in floral design from the New York Botanical Garden.  She has staged more than $500 million in real estate and has been featured on television and in numerous newspapers and magazines.
