China Institute Honors Professor Renqiu Yu

The Professor of history and Asian studies was honored for his contributions to Chinese culture at the China Institute's annual Chinese New Year party at Gotham Hall.

Professor Renqiu Yu was honored by the China Institute for his contributions to Chinese culture at the annual Chinese New Year's party on February 19 at Gotham Hall, celebrating the year of the Tiger.

Representing Purchase at the event were President Schwarz, and both current and former colleagues in the School of Humanities: Frank Farrell, Geoffrey Field, Paul Kaplan, Gari LaGuardia, Michael Lobel, Ronnie Scharfman, Wayne te Brake, and Louise Yelin.
