Dave Grill Lights Super Bowl

Professor David Grill will once again serve as lighting director for the halftime show featuring The Who.

Dave Grill will be the lighting director for the Super Bowl's halftime show featuring The Who on February 7. CBS will broadcast  the Colts versus the Saints football game from Miami to one of the largest  television viewing audiences in the nation and around the world.

Singer Carrie Underwood will sing the national anthem and Queen Latifah will perform "America The Beautiful."  The halftime show is the most watched musical performance each year.

Grill has worked on seven previous Super Bowls. He received an Emmy in 2002 for Outstanding Lighting Direction for his work on the 2002 Winter Olympics.  He has also designed lighting for theatre, dance, television, and video industrials.
