Conservatory of Dance Partners With Reverb Festival

Creative residency with eleven choreographers from New York and abroad yields original works to be performed at Dance Theater Lab on October 16 & 17 at 8 PM. Free

Reverb Festival in partnership with the Conservatory of Dance presents the Reverb Choreographic Project featuring the work of eleven compelling choreographers from NEw York and abroad who have had an opportunity to create an original work during a creative residency at Purchase. The result is an eclectic combination of solos, duets and group work that is explosive, meditative, fun and witty.

Choreographers for the Reverb Choreographic Projecty are:  Adam Barruch, US; Lane Gifford, US; Jozsef Csaba Hajzer, Hungary; Tomoko Maeda, Japan/US; Ja'Malik, US; Bradley Shelver, South Africa/US; Annie Rigney, US; Jin Ju Song-Begin, Korea; Lizzire Thrasher, US; and Nelly Van Bommel, France/US.

A presentation of works in progress will take place on October 16 & 17 at 8 PM in the Purchase Dance Theatre Lab at 8 PM. Free.

Completed works will be presented October 23 & 24 at 8 PM at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center at 248 W. 60th St. NY. Tickets $20 at door. Reserve in advance by emailing ReverbFestivalReservation@gmail.com.

Now in its fifth year, the Reverb Festival has presented the work of 50 innovative dance makers. Its mission is to offer a tightly curated event showcasing a broad spectrum of compelling works to facilitate an intetnational exchange of artists imersed in dance theatre exploration.
