Rocky Horror Picture Show Oct. 30 & 31

It's back! The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the popular cult musical returns to Purchase  on October 30 and 31 in The Performing Arts Center at 8 PM.  Tickets are $12 and $10 for students.  Call the box office at 914-251-6200 or www.artscenter.org.

This entirely student-run production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show

boasts a talented cast and promises a night of melodramatic musical mayhem.

Audience participation is encouraged at this all-out theatrical party.  A six-piece live band and a cast of characters including Frank-N-Furter, Magenta, Riff Raff, and Columbia will lead the audience in a zany version of the "Time Warp" dance.  Sequined platforms, feather boas and eye shadow a must.

This cult classic is an assemblage of stereotyped science fiction movies, Marvel comics, and rock and roll of every vintage running through the story of an unsuspecting average couple caught up in a world of science fiction,  fantasy and the complications of the decadent 70's.
