Professor Robert Spahr and Alumna Kristen Galvin of Art+Design Exhibit At AC Gallery in NYC March 19-April 11

Professor Robert Spahr of Art+Design will exhibit "Panopticon Cruft" and Kristen Galvin '08 Art+Design will exhibit "Domestic" in a group video exhibition at AC (Institute Direct Chapel) from March 19 through April 11 at  547 W. 27th St, #519 New York, NY. www.artcurrents.org

AC is a lab and forum for experimentation and critical discussion. The works are shown in a home-movie theatre atmosphere including seating and a 9 foot projection screen. Other featured artists are China Blue, Phyllis Bulkin-Lehrer, Osvaldo Cibils, Erica Clayton, Andrew Erdos, Scott Groeniger, Henry Gwiazda, Jan Hakon-Erichson, Moira Holohan, Ellen Lake, JD McPherson, Jane Philbrick, Elise Roedenbeck, and Keith Sullivan.

AC develops projects that explore a performative exchange across visual, verbal and experiential disciplines. Exhibition curators were Holly Crawford, Sonya Hofer, and Christine Licita.  The exhibit is presented by Rhizone and Perpetual Art machine (PAM) members.
Gallery hours are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 1-6 PM and Thursday 1-8 PM; 5th Floor - #519-529 & North Alcove
