David Ehrenfeld, professor of biology at Rutgers University will discuss "Truth and Fiction in Modern Science: How Dishonesty Damages our Health and Environment" on March 3 in the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College at 7 PM. Admission is free. His talk is presented by the School of Natural and Social Sciences as part of the Science in the Modern World Lecture Series.
Dr. Ehrenfeld is a member of the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Natural Resources at the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. He is the author of "Becoming Good Ancestors: How We Balance Nature, Community and Technology" and other books. He is also the founding editor and a current contributor to Conservation Biology the leading a journal in this rapidly growing discipline of biology.
