Professor Anthony Lemieux Participates in Psychology Day at the United Nations

Professor Anthony Lemieux  addresses poverty reduction and social justice during the Second Annual Psychology Day at the United Nations on November 19. 

Joining him on a panel is Anthony Marsella, Ph.D of the University of Hawaii. 

 Psychologists, government officials, civil society representatives and media officials  gather to address the ways in which psychology can help promote social justice related to the United Nations agenda.  Keynote speaker is Dr. Herbert Kelman, Emeritus Professor of Social Ethics at Harvard University.  Three expert panels address the psychological effects of climate change, poverty reduction, and psychological perspectives on abuse of power.
