THOMAS
A compilation of searchable databases produced by the Library of Congress that include the full-text of bills from 1989 to the present, public laws by law number from 1973 to present, the Congressional Record from 1989 to present, and committee information.
 
GPO Access
Several searchable databases produced by the Government Printing Office that contain the full-text of bills, committee hearings and reports, treaty documents, the the United States Code, as well as the Congressional Record from 1994 to present.
The Congressional Record
The Congressional Record is the official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress. It is published daily when Congress is in session. This database is produced by the Government Printing Office and provides documents from the 104th Congress to present.
Congressional Committee Reports
The Congressional Reports databases contain House, Senate, and executive reports from the 104th Congress through the present. The database for the current Congress is updated irregularly, as electronic versions of the documents become available.

Congressional Bills
The Congressional Bills database contains all published versions of each bill from the specified Congress. Congressional Bills are available from the 103d Congress forward. The database for the current Congress is updated daily at 6 a.m. when Congress authorizes publication of a new version of a bill.

Public Laws
The Public Laws database is a collection of laws enacted during the last several Congresses. The database for the current session of Congress is updated when the publication of a slip law is authorized by Office of the Federal Register.

The U.S. Code
The United States Code is prepared and published by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel, U.S. House of Representatives. This database contains the general and permanent laws of the United States.

The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004
S. 2845, the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, was passed in the House of Representatives on 12/07/04, with a vote of 336-75. It was passed in the Senate on 12/08/04, with a vote of 89-2.
