Spring 2021 Instant Decision Day at Purchase College will take place on January 18, 2020, beginning at 10am.
How to Prepare
Please submit the following items in advance to participate:
- Complete and submit either the SUNY Application or Common Application.

If you are graduating from a SUNY community college and are applying to Purchase for the semester immediately following, you do not have to pay the application fee.

- Submit official transcript(s) from any and all colleges attended.
- If you have less than 24 completed credits, we will need your Final High School Transcript as well as transcripts from any dual enrollment credit earned (for example: Syracuse University Project Advance).
- Transcripts must be in a sealed envelope or emailed to us from the institution directly to be considered official. Emailed transcripts should be sent to samantha.fishman@purchase.edu.

We need a transcript regardless of credit earned or length of attendance in all cases.
- If you took any time off between graduating high school and attending college, you must submit a time gap information form and the Think Wide Open submission.

To access the time gap information form, you must have already submitted your application and activated your application portal.

You are not required to submit personal essays or letters of recommendation, but are welcome to do so.
