U.S. Government Print Publications
 
The Purchase College Library is a Congressionally-designated depository of U.S. Government publications, selecting about 27 percent of all items distributed by the Government Printing Office.

Most government publications in the Purchase College Library are shelved in the Documents/Periodicals Room on the Main floor. They are arranged by the Superintendent of Documents (SuDoc) number, a call number system derived from agency names. To find out what government publications are at Purchase, you can search our Online Catalog.

To find all federal government publications by the Government Printing Office, search the Monthly Catalog.

Special Issue of the Monthly Labor Review: Hurricane Katrina - NEW!

The August issue of this publication, which is put out by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, focuses on the first anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and its effect on the Gulf region.state.  There are numerous articles on topics such as Gulf region layoffs and employment statistics after Katrina, Current Population surveys response and Gulf ocean/environmental impact.
