Through the Purchase College Association, the college has a very limited amount of funds available to students who are facing financial hardships and cannot afford to rent or purchase their textbooks. (Funds for Fall 2017 have been awarded)
Students should contact the college Ombudsman to discuss their situation and textbook needs prior to the start of the semester or as early as possible. The Ombudsman Office is on the second floor of the Student Services Building, room 217, by email at

Students must submit a completed Textbook Assistance Application for the request to be considered.
