Did you have an amazing internship experience? Participate in a service learning project? Study abroad? Perform in or create a play, dance, concert, or work of visual art?
It likely challenged you, taught you something new and unexpected, and maybe even changed you forever.
The Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management invites you to share what you’ve learned. Submit a proposal for the first annual Beyond Purchase: Applied Learning Symposium.
If selected, you’ll make a brief 15-minute presentation and/or create a poster sharing your experience and how it affected you. This is a great opportunity to hone your presentation skills and even inspire others to get involved.
Awards will be giving to the top presentations in each of categories.
The symposium is open to current students and recent alumni with experiences doing internships, service learning projects, community service projects, or international study programs; or with experiences involving the creation of or performance in works of visual, performing, or theatre arts at Purchase.
Submit your proposal by April 26, 2019. Students will be notified of their acceptance to present by May 6, 2019.
