How to Apply

International Students interested in applying for a degree program must contact the Admissions Office directly. The Office of International Programs and Services works with students once they have been admitted. Our office will coordinate your arrival and orientation just before the semester begins. Short-Term Exchange Applicants

Purchase College has more than 20 active student exchange agreements with international partners from around the world. Students from these partnerships may be nominated by their home campus to attend Purchase College for 1 semester or 1 full academic year. For questions on how to apply to attend Purchase College for this short-term program, we encourage partner university students to speak with their study abroad or international education office. 

Parents and Guardians

Purchase College is a public four-year college located in Purchase, New York. Purchase provides a traditional American college/university experience on a safe and secure 550 acre suburban campus. The school is located 35 miles north of New York City with access via bus and commuter rail system.

Purchase offers majors from three schools: the School for Liberal Arts and Sciences, the School of the Arts, and the School of Liberal Studies & Continuing Education and is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Purchase College was ranked 9 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2016 listing of top public liberal arts colleges. The college was listed as one of Kiplinger’s 100 Best Public College Values in 2016.
