  Jack Schatz is a versatile and accomplished trombone player and currently Professor of Trombone and Brass at Purchase Conservatory of Music, Purchase College SUNY.
</p>
<p>
  At Purchase, Jack has commissioned four works for Brass Quintet, Brass Ensemble and Trombone Ensemble by Composers David Heckendorn and Warren Wernick. The Purchase Faculty Brass has recorded the Brass Quintet.Jack has also served as Assistant Professor of Trombone at Hofstra University, and at Queens College.&#160;
</p>
<p>
  Jack has enjoyed a freelance career performing in every facet of the music industry from commercial jingles to recording studios to national tours and symphony halls. &#160;
</p>
<p>
  He has performed with The New York Philharmonic, The Metropolitan Opera where he recorded Wagner's Ring Cycle, National Grand Opera, Houston Opera, New York Choral Society, Orchestra of St. Lukes, and New Jersey Symphony.&#160; &#160;
</p>
<p>
  Jack has performed and toured with the Big Bands of Bob Mintzer, Tom Pierson, Louie Bellson, and Bobby Watson. Jack has recorded with The Ed Palermo Big Band, James Moody, Alan Pasqua, and Ted Nash.&#160;&#160;
</p>
<p>
  Jack has been a member of the Grand Teton Music Festival for four years, and has been on staff at Westbury Music Fair.
</p>
<p>
  Jack's recording credits include cast recordings of <em>My Favorite Year</em> and Broadway productions of <em>Damn Yankees</em>, <em>Hello Dolly, A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum, Side Show, Little Me, The Phantom of the Opera, Flower Drum Song, Wonderful Town, A Chorus Line</em>, and <em>Billy Elliot</em>, <em>Hugh Jackman Back On Broadway</em>, and <em>Nice Work If You Can Get It</em>, <em>The Music Man</em>.
</p>
<p>
  Jack has been a featured soloist and conductor with the Nassau-Suffolk All County Music Festival.
</p>
<p>
  Jack Schatz is a native New Yorker who upon graduating from The High School of Music and Art, attended Queens College CUNY where he received his BM and BA degrees in Performance and Education.&#160; At Queens College he&#160; studied with Erwin Price and Simon Karasickwas, and was the recipient of the Karol Rathaus Family Award for excellence in performance.&#160; Jack also received a National Endowment for the Arts grant for further study towards a Masters Degree.
</p>
<p>
  Jack earned his Masters Degree from The Juilliard School of Music, which he attended on a full scholarship.&#160; &#160;Jack was a student of Don Harwood, Steve Norrell and Arnold Jacobs.
</p>
<p>
  Jack has also published articles for the International Trombone Association.

  Bill Owens is currently the associate principal trumpet with the West Point Band. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the Juilliard School in 2005, Bill moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a freelance chamber and orchestral musician. He quickly established himself by performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the San Diego Symphony, and the Santa Barbara Symphony, as well as numerous other Southern California orchestras. For six years, he was a member of the national touring ensemble, Presidio Brass. In addition to regular performances with the West Point Band, Bill performs brass quintet recitals with the Collective Brass with whom he has recorded three albums. His newest project is a collaboration with piano soloist Yalin Chi. Their duo performs recitals in the tristate area and have recently released an album of French songs.

  With over two decades of experience as an accomplished professional musician based in New York City, Australian-born Will de Vos has built a distinguished career across a wide spectrum of musical genres, including classical orchestra, chamber music, musical theater, and recording.
</p>
<p>
  Widely regarded as one of the top players in his field, Will is celebrated for his versatility, artistry, and dedication to excellence.
</p>
<p>
  Will is currently engaged with New York City Ballet Orchestra, where his performances contribute to the ensemble's world-class reputation. He frequently collaborates with esteemed organizations such as the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Pops Orchestra, the American Symphony Orchestra, the New Jersey Symphony, the Vermont Symphony, and the Harrisburg Symphony, among others. His talents have taken him to prominent stages across the Northeast and beyond, including Carnegie Hall, where he had the distinct honor of performing with Vienna Philharmonic during their 2023 US tour - a proud milestone in his career.
</p>
<p>
  In addition to his orchestral work, Will has made significant contributions to the world of musical theater. For over 20 years, he performed in the orchestra for The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway until its historic run concluded in 2023. His other Broadway credits include acclaimed productions such as Follies, On the Town, Ragtime, and Into the Woods, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to excellence in live performance. As a sought-after studio musician, Will's artistry has been featured in numerous film, television, and commercial recording projects, solidifying his reputation as a highly skilled and versatile horn player. Some recent film credits include blockbuster scores such as Barbie, Maestro, The Greatest Showman, Joker, White Noise, Madam Web, Gemini Man, Collateral Beauty and many more.

  Will began his musical journey at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane, Australia, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in French Horn Performance. He later completed his Master of Music at SUNY Purchase College Conservatory of Music in New York.

  Adolfo Monterroso is one of New York City's most in-demand young tuba players. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he studied with Earl Mcintyre before entering Dan Peck's studio at Purchase College, SUNY. Graduating with a BM in 2022, he embarked on graduate studies with Alan Baer at The Juilliard School and graduated with a MM in 2024.
</p>
<p>
  Mr. Monterroso's musical interests are eclectic; an avid chamber musician and member of <em>Times Square Brass</em>, he has also performed with the <em>New York City Ballet, Second Ending Ensemble, New England Symphonic Ensemble</em>, and the <em>Corbin Jones Big Band</em> at Dizzy's Club.
</p>
<p>
  In addition to his busy performance and teaching schedule, Mr. Monterroso also enjoys weightlifting, and volleyball, and is an enthusiastic Barista. His musical spiritual home, is the orchestral repertoire of the <em>Late Romantic Era</em>, in particular, the tone poems of Richard Strauss.
