David Waltzer ’95

Consumer advocacy attorney and founder of Waltzer Law Group

David Waltzer ’95 is the founder of Waltzer Law Group, based in Tarrytown, NY.

After graduating from Purchase, David taught in the NYC public school system. Soon afterward, he earned a Master’s in Public Policy from Baruch College, working as a consultant for the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone and the NY Society for Ethical Culture.

David then earned a JD from Rutgers University School Of Law, specializing in Human Rights. He worked for the United Nations before founding the Waltzer Law Group, specializing in consumer advocacy and bankruptcy law, in 2008.

In tandem with his law practice, David started Dream Team HR in 2019. Dream Team HR is a lifestyle-positive outsourcing business that helps outsourced workers participate in the transformation of global labor markets toward wage parity. David lives in Rhinebeck, NY, with his family. In his free time (when he has any), he is also an avid outdoorsman and a singer-songwriter.
