Why Did You Decide to Become a Global Scholar?

The Global Scholars Program gives students the opportunity to learn about many cultures that they may not have much prior knowledge of or experience with. This helps to break down the orientalist mindset that is often endemic to those in the West. This is the main reason why I decided to become a Global Scholar.
