Creative Team Profiles

Georgiana Angileri is a staff accountant by trade and an avid artist by nature. She enjoys creating on many mediums, be it sewing, knitting, crocheting, home design, etc. She is the owner of BearyBooBears (costume miniature bears). She sculpts and costumes period figures in 1:12th scale. When taking a break from creating, she enjoys running, reading, gardening, fine dining, and getting lost in museums.

Nina Angileri graduated from Haverford College in 2019 with a major in Classical Archaeology and a minor in Museum Studies. She currently works as a design patent paralegal in intellectual property law, but has a passion for editorial work. When not prosecuting patents, Nina enjoys hiking, attempting historical builds in The Sims 4, and being a mom to her two lovely cats.

Oliver Copeland is a sophomore theatre student with an interest in the backstage component of theatre. He has recently gotten accustomed to tools in the school’s woodshop and would like to pursue set design and woodworking. This is the third show he has assistant stage managed.

Jesse Dickersin is a freshman at Purchase College. Before taking on the role of Irving Price, he played Stanley in 1940s Radio Hour, Howie Newsome and Wally Webb in Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, and Anthony Marston in Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. He is excited to be a part of We All Fall Down, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Anya Febus-Fernandez (she/her) is a sophomore Theatre and Performance major. Credits include We All Fall Down (Harriet), Purgatorio Wonderland (Y, 5, Mother), UK Tinder Photoshoot (Model), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Violet), When in Rome (Laffina, Muse), Nifty Fifties (Jane), Jazz Band (Singer). Anya would like to thank her mother and everyone who has supported her on her journey to success. I don’t know what I would do without you. Thank you, I love you.

Samuel Long is a composer, whose work bridges the gap between experimental, classical music and modern electronic composition. He graduated magna cum laude from the Music Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College, and his credits include works for the screen, stage and stand-alone albums. In 2020, he was invited to be part of the “International Collective Artists 4 Peace.” His compositions for the YouTube and animator Meatcanyon have had over 6 million views each.

John Richard Mateyko (he/him) is a Ukrainian-American actor born (four months premature) and raised in Long Beach, New York. Recent Credits: Hamlet (Hamlet), The Aliens (Evan), Love Labor’s Lost (Ferdinand), Pericles (Pericles). Noah Rigby is a junior Creative Writing major at SUNY Purchase, who has a double minor in Theatre and Performance and Playwriting. He has stage managed a couple of performances before, but this is his debut college production. When he is not stage managing, as one may be able to predict, he is usually writing, but he also enjoys exploring nature, drawing, and going out for coffee with friends.

Kaira Rivera (she/her) is a junior double major in Screenwriting/Playwriting and Theatre and Performance, and is looking to minor sociology. She has played roles in the past such as Machinal (Young Woman), Twelfth Night (Olivia), and Sweat (Cynthia).

About the Conservatory of Theatre Arts

About the Conservatory of Theatre Arts

In our teaching and art, the Conservatory values inclusiveness, equality, and excellence. Upholding all of our training is our aim to train and graduate citizen artists: multifaceted people with a strong sense of purpose in approaching an arts education.

What is a citizen artist? Citizen artists seek to discover how their unique voices can contribute to our world. They understand what it means to be an artist, and what they are here on earth to say and do and make.

The Conservatory trains future citizen artists in three degree programs:

+ BFA Actor Training. The BFA is an intensive professional training program offered to a highly select and diverse group of students. The professional training is anchored in four years of study in acting, voice, speech, and movement, complemented by offerings in dramatic literature and analysis, history of the theatre, stage combat, improvisation, mask work, acting for the camera, and the business of acting. As one of five schools in the Consortium of Professional Theatre Training Programs, Purchase is one of a handful of colleges in the world capable of training artists at this level—and of drawing a faculty from the ranks of professional theatre

+ BFA in Theatre Design/Technology. Emphasizing studio and classroom training, our professional training program in theatre design/technology gives students the guidance and support of established and theatre industry professionals. Many of our alumni are recognized at the top of their field, and have received Tony, Emmy, Obie, and Drama Desk Awards, among other honors. Quite literally, Purchase grads are working in or have worked in every theatre on Broadway, in all tristate venues, and with countless touring productions

+ BA program in Theatre and Performance. From traditional theatre to cutting-edge interdisciplinary work, the theatre and performance major encourages creativity, intellectual curiosity, social engagement, and critical thinking. The core requirements combine scholarship and practice to provide students with a strong foundation in theatre history and dramatic literature, with mandatory stagecraft/production courses. Theatre and Performance majors are encouraged to expand the scope of their education by studying abroad, as well as pursuing coursework in other programs of study within the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Purchase College
