Doctoral Graduate Extern, Cornerstone Program
Dominique Reminick is a Doctoral Extern for the Cornerstone Program within the Office of Disability Resources at Purchase College. Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Dominique provides individualized academic, self-management, and social skills coaching, and serves as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff.
Prior to joining Purchase College, Dominique worked with an out-of-district child study team, providing behavioral support and psychological assessment for students with disabilities. Currently, she is a third-year doctoral student in the Clinical and School Psychology Psy.D. program at Kean University in Union, NJ, where she manages Kean’s Center for Autism Assessment and Research Services. She is also a board member of the New Jersey Psychological Association for Graduate Students, serving on the Committee on Diversity and Inclusion. Her recent research focuses on mindfulness and trauma-informed care in school settings, with an emphasis on supporting diverse student populations.
In her downtime, Dominique enjoys writing poetry, reading supernatural suspense novels, and taking long walks through wooded trails. She has been a proud vegan for 16 years.
