Tim (T.K) Dalton is a PhD candidate in English at The CUNY Graduate Center, and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Oregon. He has taught composition, creative writing, journalism, and translation at the college level since 2005.

His essays have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net, and appear in Apogee, The Millions, Southeast Review, Tahoma Literary Review, Radical Teacher, and elsewhere. His scholarly work appears or is forthcoming in The Journal of Teaching Disability Studies and Disability Experiences: Memoirs, Autobiographies, and Other Personal Narratives (Macmillan). He has presented on topics related to disability and writing at regional and national conferences. A founding editor of the digital literary journal the Deaf Poets Society, Tim also worked for seven years as an ASL-English interpreter.
