Mark Patnode ’78
Mark Patnode ’78 is a Fellow of Urban Artists Initiative, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts & CT State Office of the Arts (COA). Mark has served on the CT State Arts Council and is an I-Park Fellow, and Vermont Studio Center Fellow. Mark was selected by CT Governor Rell to create a painting for CT’s 375th Anniversary. Listed in Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement, Mark’s work also appears in the Smithsonian Institution’s Permanent Collection.
Mark is an Elected Member of Salmagundi Art Club, Mystic Museum of Art, Norwich Arts Center, Coast Guard Art Program (COGAP) Artist, Member of the Bulgarian-American Creative Society, USA Visual Artist Instructor for CREC CulturArte, Africa. He served as a Juror for the CT Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) Annual Show (2015) and Clinton Art Society (2017). Mark is juried into the COA Directory of Teaching Artists as a Connecting & Integrating Teaching Artist. His book, “Cultivating Illuminations” is available through Amazon.
