Lecturer in Psychology
Donna has had a clinical practice for the past 23 years seeing children, adults, couples and families. Her training and cognitive orientation has led to a specialty in anxiety and depression in patients from 3 to 70 years old.
During this time she has spent time chairing a Youth Council in her community working to bring Social Emotional programs to the local schools helping children who are alienated and bullied.
More About Me
Donna has been teaching a variety of Psychology courses in the evenings and summer at Purchase College Liberal Studies division for the past 28 years. She has taught many courses including Child Psychopathology, Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology where her clinical case studies bring text book material to life in the classroom. She has developed a class in Multiple Intelligence and takes students into classrooms from pre school to college level to experience teaching a lesson using a form of multiple intelligence as a vehicle.
