Lauren Rodriguez

Director, Office of Disability Resources

Dr. Lauren Rodriguez is the Director of the Office of Disability Resources at Purchase College. As Director, she supervises all academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities. Lauren meets with and coordinates access plans for students who identify their primary disability as a visual, hearing, and/or mobility impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder, chronic medical condition, traumatic brain injury, or temporary injury/condition. In her role as Director, Lauren is responsible for developing and updating policies and procedures, managing the office operating budget, and representing the office on various College, state, and local committees and associations.

Prior to joining Purchase College, Lauren worked as a school psychologist in a public school setting where her responsibilities included completing psychoeducational evaluations and serving as the 504 Coordinator and Committee on Special Education Building Chairperson. She also previously served as an Academic Consultant in a disability services office where she was responsible for working with students to determine and implement appropriate academic adjustments and academic support services.

In Lauren’s free time, she enjoys going to live concerts, learning brush lettering and calligraphy, baking, and watching crime-based television programs. She is also an avid fan of Syracuse University basketball.
