The Library celebrates Women’s History Month with a book display. 

Our first floor display showcases works of women’s history written by women historians and scholars These titles realize the concepts of women as participants and creators in history as well as compilers. Lift up multivolume titles such as Marilyn French’s From Eve To Dawn, Bonnie Smith’s Women’s History in Global Perspective and Sarah Hughes Women in World History.

Browse the display and you’ll find works covering topics such as women in the multicultural US, women as represented in African colonial histories, a cultural history of women of color in American Islam, and a celebration of lesbian history. The most recent publications consider the “selling of Women’s history” and the ongoing Feminist revolution.

These titles will be on display for all of March. All items are available for checkout.
