For this festival close to 300 filmmakers and screenwriters submitted their work for consideration.  We are grateful to our pre-screening committees at SUNY Oswego, SUNY Broome, Fredonia and Purchase College who made these final selections. And many thanks go to our final jury who made difficult award decisions!

Our judges will present awards in these categories at the Awards Ceremony, at 7:00pm:  Narrative, Experimental, Documentary, Animation, Best Screenplay and Best of Fest.

The SUNYWide Film Festival (SWFF) now in its 10th year, is one of the top student festivals in the Northeast, bringing entertaining, thought-provoking and challenging film and video work to the public.

Historically, SWFF has provided a platform to highlight the work that best exemplifies the dedication and skill found across the SUNY system, where students and faculty explore personal visions through time-based image making.

The festival is free and open to the public. Individuals requiring accommodations for equal access to this event should contact lorraine.miller@purchase.edu a minimum of five business days prior to the event.
