What do you like to do in your free time?

Hiking, Gardening, Meteorology, Longboarding

How did you become interested in sustainability?

Entered the field by taking an AP environmental science class in high school and having a teacher that really sparked interest in the topic. I found my way into a position at the Office of Sustainability at UAlbany and made a huge impact on their sustainability efforts. 

How do you practice sustainability in your personal life?

I practice sustainability by:

  • ​​using canvas bags
  • taking my longboard places instead of using my car
  • running local clothing drives
  • recycling when I can
  • promoting recycling culture through education
  • growing my own vegetables
  • purchasing local when the option is available

What is your ultimate green goal?

Own a huge solar farm (personal) and have the world go net zero (global)
