Summer Is Almost Here

Courses, internships, jobs—it’s time to make plans for summer.

Summer Courses

Students can get ahead or catch up on credits this summer. We offer 60 different courses spanning the arts, humanities, and sciences in the format most preferred: in-person, 100% online, or a hybrid of both.

Visit Summer Session on the web for dates and course listings.

Internships and Summer Jobs

If your student is still looking for a work opportunity this summer, it’s not too late. The Career Development Center(CDC) works with all students to help find summer job and internship opportunities.

Internships are a valuable way for students to “test out” their career interests while developing professional skills and gaining practical experience. Internships can also be taken for academic credit.

Students should access the Purchase JobScore system to locate paid and unpaid credit-bearing or noncredit internships or they can meet with a career counselor. The CDC is open throughout the summer and staff are happy to meet with students in person, via phone, or over Skype.

Finish in Four

Internships and summer courses are two great ways to move students toward the goal of earning their degrees on time. Visit our Finish in Four page to learn more.
