Dear Parents and Families

Message from Dennis Craig, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

Whether your student is halfway done with freshmen year, one semester away from graduation, or somewhere in between, we encourage their progress, provide support when they need it, and offer advice to keep them on track to graduate in four years. Visit our Finish in Four page to learn more.

We find that engaging students at key points in their academic journey keeps them on track. For Freshman, now is the perfect time to celebrate the completion of their first semester and set them on a path for success for the next three years as we get them to think about finding an internship, studying abroad, or sharpening study skills. We’ll mark the milestone with free t-shirts, free food and great advice on February 14.

Engaged students do better academically than those who are not. Maybe suggest yours to meet with professors during office hours, to attend peer group study sessions, or to submit an essay to the online writing lab. Struggling or not, all students will benefit from connecting with others.

As always, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or comments.

Best regards,
Dennis Craig
