Known issue with Assignment activity in Moodle
There is a known issue with the Assignment activity in our instance of Moodle 3.5.
To avoid encountering any problems, please create the Assignment by leaving all settings at their default, especially under the “Availability” section heading.
Do not uncheck any boxes that are checked by default or adjust any default dates during the initial Assignment creation.
Once the assignment has been created, you can go back into the Assignment settings to make necessary adjustments to date options (Allow submissions from, Due date, Cut-off date, Remind me to grade by) or any other settings.
