Printmaking BFA students participating in the 2017 PrintFest
Congratulations to Printmaking! BFA students from the Printmaking program are participating in the 2017 PrintFest at the International Print Center held in New York City. PrintFest is a dynamic, three-day event hosted by IPCNY for MFA students and BFA seniors to exhibit, sell, and trade their prints. PrintFest provides these emerging artists the opportunity to show their work to a broad audience of collectors, publishers, artists, curators, and IPCNY members. Open to the public during New York’s annual Print Week, PrintFest attracts locals and out-of-towners visiting Chelsea galleries and the nearby Editions/Arists’ Book Fair and IFPDA Print Fair.
PrintFest is held at 524 W 26th St, ground floor October 26 − 28, 2017 Thursday, October 26 from 5 − 9pm Friday : 12pm − 7pm with panel discussion on working in the arts from 11am-12pm. Speakers: artists, art professionals, and printmakers Kerry Downey, A+D faculty member Rob Swainston, Lotte Allen, and Lois Harada.
Saturday: 12pm − 7pm
with political poster-making workshop led by artist Yevgeniy Fiks and Bushwick Print Lab from 1pm-4pm on the event of IPCNY’s exhibition Russian Revolution: A Contested Legacy
