Screenwriting Faculty signs on for “Expendables.”

Lastest in the Sylvester Stalllone franchise to be penned by JD Zeik.

Playwriting & Screenwriting and Film faculty member JD Zeik has inked a deal as scribe on the next Stallone “Expendables” film.  Stallone promises the fourth installment in the franchise will “have a whole new attitude” presumably provided by screenwriter Zeik.

This adding to Zeik’s credits which include his original screenplay, Ronin, starring Robert DeNiro; The Touch, with Michelle Yeoh; Pistol Whipped, with Steven Seagal; and the TV film (and subsequent series) Witchblade, on which he also served an executive producer. He has also worked with artists as varied as James Cameron, Alfonso Cuaron, and 50 Cent.  

Zeik graduated from Purchase College, where he started his writing career as a playwright. His plays have been produced in both New York and Los Angeles. He has taught screenwriting at Purchase College since the spring of 2000.
